Banquests & Group Events

The Chop House can accommodate parties from 6 to 90. We specialize in Nebraska corn feed USDA aged beef grilled over seasoned almond and oak.  Meat cuts include Filet, Rib Steak, Kansas City Bone in New York, Veal Rib Chop, Lamb, Brined Pork Chop, Kobe Beef and more.  We also have a great selection of seafood, appetizers, soups, salads and desserts.

Our Wine Spectator award winning list features over 500 wines and beautiful mahogany bar serves up the best martinis in town. For parties of distinction the Chop House is the Place.

Background

Kurt's creative style first caught the Bay Area's attention when he opened231 Ellsworth in San Mateo, considered one of the top restaurants in California. Kurt has worked in some of the finest restaurants in the world including Narsai's in Kensington, California, The Clift Hotel in San Francisco, The Pierre Hotel in New York, La Gavroche in London and Ventana, Big Sur.

Chef Narsai David brings a wealth of experience to the company. Narsai has shared his food and wine expertise for over twenty years, as restaurateur, editor and columnist for TV, radio and newspaper. His restaurant "Narsai' s" was describe in The New
York Times as having one of the finest wine lists in the world.

After many years of friendship, Kurt and Narsai have become partners to create an impressive contemporary menu, offering the finest Prime Beef and Chops, the freshest seafood and impressive pastas, all paired with the harvest of  the central coast. We hope you enjoy!
