Enjoy a full breakfast cooked fresh each morning in the cheery breakfast room that has all the charm of a Victorian parlor. After a day of play, guests gather again and relax around the fireplace for social hour with California wine & some hors d’oeuvres.
Located in the heart of the Monterey Peninsula, guest can enjoy drowsy days of romantic solitude- one block stroll to the ocean and Lover’s Point at the beach in Pacific Grove, walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery row made famous by John Steinbeck and the Fisherman’s Wharf, or meander around Pacific Grove’s many quaint shops, antique stores and fine restaurants.
The Centrella Bed & Breakfast Inn offers 26 elegant rooms, including charming Victorian Rooms and Suites, Lovers Loft Suites, five private Cottages with fireplaces, and a romantic Garden Room with a step-in Jacuzzi tub for two.
The Victorian Rooms
Our Victorian Rooms are furnished and decorated in the Victorian style. Some of these relaxing rooms come with lovely bay windows, a sitting area and/or a delightful garden view. Enjoy private baths with a combination of a shower and/or claw-foot tub bath. Victorian Rooms cannot accommodate children under 10 years old. These rooms offer either one queen bed or two twin beds.
The Victorian Two-Room Suite
Enjoy added luxury and comfort in our Victorian Suite, decorated and furnished with turn-of-the century antiques, claw-foot tubs and period art. This spacious 2-room suite features a master bedroom and a separate living/sitting room with a sofa bed, Cable TV and working desk. The Suite has a king-size bed and an horizon ocean view from the bedroom. This cannot accommodate children under 10 years old.
The Lovers Loft Suites:
Get comfortable in our private, airy and spacious Loft Suites with vaulted ceilings, lots of windows and skylights above the bed. Located on the 3rd floor, the Loft Suites provide the ultimate privacy and solitude. These wonderful suites feature a wet bar and mini-fridge, Cable TV, large private bath with claw-foot tubs and oversized walk in shower. Some offer a sofa sleeper, dining table and a work desk. Some suites feature a king-size bed and/or an ocean view. These suites cannot accommodate children under 10 years old.
The Cottages:
Cozy, quaint and charming, our five private Cottages are your perfect choice for an intimate and romantic retreat. Situated around an enchanting garden, Cottages feature a separate master bedroom and a living room with a sitting area, a fireplace, wet bar, mini fridge, Cable TV & DVD, dining table and a pull-out sofa bed. Our Victorian-style cottages offer either claw-foot tubs with a shower or standard tub with shower. Two of our Cottages also have private patios.
Cottages are ideal accommodations for couples seeking privacy in a cozy and intimate setting for a relaxing retreat, or families with children who need the extra space and quiet.
The Garden Suite:
Our charming Garden Suite, often referred to as "The Honeymoon Suite," is perfect for romantic and intimate getaways or to celebrate a special occasion, such as your wedding or anniversary. The Garden Room features a private entrance, a canopy bed, a wet bar, a mini fridge, a sitting area, and a unique pot-belly fireplace with beautiful views of the garden. This charming suite has a special large bathroom, exquisitely designed and decorated with a Jacuzzi tub for two.
