The Hofsas House Hotel is a boutique family-owned inn with 38 uniquely decorated, spacious rooms, many with ocean views overlooking the pines in the village of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Dutch doors appoint each room allowing our guests to enjoy the fresh ocean air. Our guests watch glorious sunsets over the Pacific Ocean from the privacy of the inn's decks or rooms. Some rooms and most suites have fireplaces, private balconies, wet bars or kitchens. The Hofsas House is located three blocks north of Ocean Avenue, eight blocks from the picturesque white sand Carmel beach and one block from a child-friendly City park. There is plenty of off-street parking and guests delight in walking everywhere in Carmel from the inn.

Amenities:

• The Hofsas House has a year-round heated swimming pool for use by guests. This is quite a luxury in Carmel-by-the-Sea since most of the inns in the heart of the village are on small lots.
• There are two dry saunas, men’s and women’s, to enjoy after your swim or walk to the beach.
• The view deck area is a great place to sit, read, and enjoy a glass of wine while watching a glorious sunset.
• Continental breakfast is available every morning from 8 to 10 AM in the Lobby. Guests may enjoy talking with our friendly staff or other guests in the Lobby, or take a tray to their room or to the view deck areas. After 9 AM, the continental breakfast can be delivered to your room by request. The breakfast includes: orange juice, French Roast coffee, tea, hot chocolate, a variety of fresh pastries delivered from a local bakery and fresh fruit.
• In-Room Amenities All of the spacious rooms have cable television, telephones, and private bathrooms with such amenities as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and a vanity kit. Fireplaces, wet bars, kitchens or private balconies are available in some rooms.
• Rooms, lobby area, meeting room, pool area and view deck areas have free wireless DSL Internet access.
• Some of our rooms are dog friendly. There is an additional charge for the pet. Carmel is a dog friendly town where dogs can run off-leash on Carmel Beach. Our gracious staff can recommend restaurants that welcome your pet for lunch and dinner.
