When I created this web site, my primary interest was in reaching couples who wanted a personal and heartful beginning to their marriage. Though I am a Christian minister, I've come to appreciate the truth found in all spiritual traditions, and I'm happy working with couples who have no particular religious background or connection.

What has happened over the years is that couples whom I've married have contacted me again when they were in need of someone to officiate a memorial service for a loved one, or do a vow renewal ceremony or a blessing for the birth of a child. So the wedding web site has expanded to embrace those other times of change. The truth is we human beings go through many transitions in our lives. I've found that marking those transitions with an appropriate ceremony with those you know and love helps bring meaning and a deeper understanding of who and where you are in your life's journey.
