Ideally located near Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Monterey Hostel is convenient to Conference Centers and major hotels as well as historic downtown Monterey, Fisherman's Wharf and local bus lines. The Monterey Bay Coastal Trail, which runs 18 miles between Pacific Grove and Castroville, is just blocks away and lined with cafes, shops and bicycle and kayak rental outlets. After a full day in Monterey, visitors can also extend their adventure by exploring the wineries of sun-drenched Carmel Valley, the coastal cliffs and state parks of Big Sur and the art galleries and white sand beaches in Carmel-by-the-Sea, all located within minutes of the hostel.

Overnight fee for HI-Members:

$22.50+10% tax=$24.75 for Adults
$15.50 + tax for age 7 to 17
$11.50 + tax for age 6 and younger
These fees include pillow, sheets, and blanket. Sorry, no sleeping bags allowed.

Non-Members Add a Membership fee of:

$3 per night for adults 18 and above
Free for those less than 18

Membership for 1 Year:
Adult 18 and over $28 per year
Less than 18 membership is free

Senior citizen (55 and over) is $18 per year
Non-profit organizational group membership is free with application
Family memberships have been discontinued
