If you are looking for a romantic activity, our sunset bonfires on the beach are quite popular. Following our directions, take your partner down to the beach to your own personal bonfire with blanket, roses -- everything you need including smores! If you are traveling as a family, we also offer a beach bonfire for small families.
Romantic Room Designs is a business that truly started to fill a need. While operating a local hotel reservations service here in Monterey County, California, we were often asked about who to call to decorate a hotel room for an anniversary, birthday, proposal or just a romantic getaway. In the 10 years that we operated this service, we assisted over 60,000 people - and quite a few wanted something a little better than just a standard hotel room.
The actual concept for the business began quite a while ago. While Brian Borgia, owner of this business along with his wife Heidi, was in college he constructed a "fake beach" on the balcony of his apartment to impress a girl (complete with sand, barbecue, leaves, blanket and ocean scene). It turned out to be so popular that all of his room mates used the same "balcony beach" for their girlfriends as well.

Our very popular "Romantic Bedroom" design gets a few more romantic twists and includes a free gift - one dozen beautiful roses set in a glass vase with elegant ribbon (normally $49.95). We can decorate at any hotel on the Monterey Peninsula to make it ultra romantic for your next special occasion getaway.

- A trail or red, silk rose petals will lead you from the front door of your hotel room to the bedroom area.
- The first thing they will notice will be the bouquet of one dozen roses set in a glass vase with elegant ribbon accent. A bottle of San Pellegrino Sparkling Water is chilled in a beverage container.
- The bed itself is decorated for a romantic evening design that incorporates 8, LED flicker candles (120 hr battery life) set in frosted votive holders, elegant red and gold ribbon, colorful chocolate kisses, a red heart Mylar balloon, and a long strand of large, white pearls. To go along with our Monterey Peninsula theme, a collection of beautiful seashells are placed on the bed as well.
- Red celebration streamers and faux diamonds are added to add a touch of "glimmer" against the backdrop of candlelight.
