Conveniently located next door to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, one of the largest and most respected aquariums in the world, InterContinental The Clement Monterey is in the heart of the street immortalized by John Steinbeck’s 1945 novel Cannery Row. The hotel features 8,500 square feet of indoor meeting space, approximately 5,000 square feet of outdoor event space overlooking Monterey Bay, a grand fireplace in the lobby, a signature restaurant and bar, a luxury spa and a fitness center with an outdoor lap pool. InterContinental The Clement Monterey is one of central California’s most desirable destinations for meetings and events. The hotel offers over 13,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and banquet space. The Pacific Ballroom offers 3,389 square feet (50 to 425 guests) with picture windows that capture a panorama of the Monterey Bay. The adjacent 3,500 square foot Pacific View Courtyard facing the sapphire blue waters of the Bay offers two fire pits which provide an ambient glow at sunset. Enjoy the hotel’s boardwalk and pier which extends out over the Bay. Rectangular cut-outs in the floor of the pier provide peeks directly down to the teeming underwater world of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
The Ocean Terrace Ballroom offers 2,300 square feet (45 to 250 guests) with an impressive view of the Bay. The outdoor Ocean Terrace provides 1,610 square feet of beautiful waterfront location for receptions and social events. The nine break-out rooms vary in size from 300 square feet to 600 square feet, which will provide ample room for 10 to 50 guests. All meeting facilities will feature state-of-the-art audio visual services, high speed Internet connectivity, and technicians who can be called upon to oversee every audio visual need. Coordinating it all will be our attentive staff of experienced caterers and our team of conference service professionals.
